| Listen my children and take your seats. . . we’re going to have fun with Musical Stories and Suites! Come meet Billy the Kid, Mother Goose, The Nutcracker, Peter & the Wolf and A Carnival of Animals. Activities include a study of the Old West with a game that takes students through the many musical sections of Billy the Kid. Learn the stories behind the Mother Goose Suite, and study the instruments of the orchestra through games and drills. Listening exercises are included; music not included. The packet includes approximately 36 to 40 hours of instruction and activities which can be covered in four days, three hours a day, with three teachers rotating groups. Students of all ages will delight in the wonderful music and fun, creative games and crafts included/suggested in this packet.
