Description
Travel back in time to the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary periods and meet some of the world’s greatest composers! Learn historical events and listen to the music of the masters (specific music is suggested, but not included). Composer biographies, musical styles, historical time lines and descriptive information about each time period are included, in addition to worksheets that review and drill general information for each period. Activities include games, crafts, listening exercises, and the performance of a suggested musical (musical not included). Packet includes 83 pages, covers approximately 45 hours of instruction and activities which can be covered in four days to five days, three hours a day, with three teachers rotating groups.
